What is KENP?
KENP stands for Kindle Edition Normalized Pages. When a Kindle Unlimited or Kindle Owners’ Lending Library subscriber reads your book, Amazon counts the normalized pages they read and pays you from a monthly fund (the KDP Select Global Fund). You’re paid per page read, not per borrow.
The per-page rate changes month to month because it depends on the size of the fund and total pages read across all enrolled books — typically a fraction of a cent per page.
Why it’s easy to miss
KENP income behaves differently from sales:
