Cookie Policy

How TrackingInk uses cookies, local storage, browser storage, device storage, and similar technologies to operate and improve the service.

Scope

This Cookie Policy explains how TrackingInk uses cookies and similar technologies on the public website, web app, support pages, and related browser experiences. Similar technologies may include local storage, session storage, IndexedDB, mobile app storage, extension storage, pixels, SDK identifiers, and device identifiers.

Strictly necessary storage

We use necessary storage to provide the service you request. This may include authentication sessions, login state, security tokens, CSRF or anti-abuse controls, load balancing, support form operation, cookie preferences, app routing, and basic service functionality. Disabling necessary storage may prevent login, account access, support submission, sync setup, subscription handling, or normal product use.

Preferences and product settings

We may use storage to remember preferences such as selected currency, display settings, dismissed notices, onboarding state, feature choices, account filters, product scope, and other settings that make the app usable across sessions.

Analytics and performance

We may use privacy-conscious analytics, diagnostics, crash reporting, and performance tools to understand product reliability, feature usage, page performance, errors, and user flows. Where legally required, non-essential analytics or tracking technologies will depend on consent or another valid legal basis.

Security and fraud prevention

Cookies and similar technologies may help us detect suspicious activity, enforce rate limits, prevent automated abuse, protect account sessions, diagnose failed logins, support logout, and keep the service stable.

Payments, support, and embedded services

Payment providers, subscription providers, authentication providers, support tools, hosting providers, analytics providers, video embeds, social embeds, app stores, browser stores, or other integrated services may set cookies or similar identifiers when their services are used or embedded. Their use of cookies is governed by their own policies.

Browser extension and mobile app storage

The TrackingInk browser extension and mobile app may use device, app, or extension storage to remember sign-in state, extension sessions, connection status, app preferences, sync setup, support context, and local report/export state. Some exported reports may live only on your device unless you choose to share or upload them.

Your choices

You can control cookies and browser storage through your browser settings. You can delete local app data through device controls where supported. Blocking or deleting storage may log you out, break account functionality, reset preferences, disable support forms, interrupt subscription flows, or prevent app features from working correctly.

Do Not Track and opt-out signals

Some browsers send Do Not Track or similar signals that do not have a uniform industry standard. Because TrackingInk does not sell personal information or use marketplace data for cross-context behavioral advertising, these signals do not change core service operation. Where a legally recognized opt-out signal applies to a feature we use, we will handle it as required by applicable law.

Updates

We may update this Cookie Policy as product features, providers, storage technologies, or legal requirements change. The updated policy is effective when posted unless a later effective date is stated.
